Agro-Assist: Pioneer Hi-Bred Magyarország's Farming Diary Application
Agro-Assist is a free, mobile and web-based application designed by DuPont's Pioneer agricultural farmers farming diary application to help farmers in their daily activities. It is a Hungarian agricultural electronic logbook that provides useful and informative features to farmers. It is the only application that can record farming and cultivated area per plant data and workflow, and even transmit it directly to the selected agronomist.
The application has a management area that shows precipitation data, soil temperature, forecast map data, and warnings of possible pest appearances. It also has a calendar feature that allows users to input data for a specific area and plant hybrid, and set reminders for specific workflows. The recordable feature allows users to record daily rainfall, irrigation, field work, fertilization, plant protection, pests, and pathogens. The knowledge section provides users with experimental results and a product catalog of Pioneer Hi-Bred Ltd. products and their short descriptions. Users can also use the Agronomist Search feature to select the relevant user field agronomist who can receive the log data and photos through the application.
